ENGLISH I

English is the most commonly used language among foreign- language speakers. It is an official language in almost 60 sovereign states and is the most commonly spoken language in the United Kingdom, the United States,Canada, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand. When people form different countries come to meet together, they will communicate using English.

 

This module provides instruction and practice of English language skills and the discipline required for such study. The module also focuses on the development of academic writing skills, reading skills, listening skills as well as speaking skills. The skills introduced will prepare students to communicate more effectively and able to demonstrate excellent English language proficiency.

 

 

This module is lead by Miss Thivilojana Peripasingam. Under her, students will learn the proper use of language and learn the ways of giving effective presentations.
