This topic was an essay practice given by Ms. Thivilojana. She has taught us what are topic sentences, thesis statements, specific details and general details and conclusions and how to use them in our essay writing. She has also taught us the proper way of referencing. So she gave us the topic of 'how to reduce pollution' to practice writing. To make it easier for us, she only asked us to write one introduction, two supporting paragraphs and one conclusion. 

But before we start writing, she said that we needed to do prewriting. Prewriting can be separated into four types: freewrtiting, questioning, making a list and clustering, which is also known as mind mapping.
